INFINITI will reveal its new Project Black S globally at a special media event on the eve of the Geneva International Motor Show. Featuring Formula 1-inspired technology, Project Black S is a collaborative effort between INFINITI and the RenaultSport Formula 1 team for a radically reinterpreted Q60 coupe. It has a stand-out aerodynamic design and hints at how a unique-for-the-road performance hybrid powertrain could significantly enhance the dynamics of near-term INFINITI production cars.

While full details about Project Black S wait for Geneva, rumour has it the car will feature an updated version of the 3.0-litre twin turbo V6 used in the Q60. Also expected is an “energy recovery system” (ERS) to harvest energy, deploying collected electric power to boost power and torque.
