Praised for his glamorous designs for French haute couture brand Balmain, Italian fashion designer Olivier Rousteing recently joined forces with NikeLab for the NikeLab x Olivier Rousteing: Football Nouveau collection following in the footsteps of Riccardo Tisci, Kim Jones, and Jun Takahashi.

The collection’s inspiration is the lifestyles of professional football players competing in Europe’s biggest championship this summer, with iconic football designs reimagined through modern silhouettes, complete with luxury finishes, including touches of gold.

Shown here is the N98 jacket, Roshe Tiempo VI, Free Hypervenom 2, as well as a T-Shirt and shorts from the collection. Each piece is black with significant gold accents, which not only remains true to Rousteing’s signature style but also pushes the sport’s aesthetic forward.
