American outdoor footwear brand KEEN has been leading the way in functional footwear design since it was established in 2003. While UNEEK may be the brand’s signature style, the UNEEK SNK combines both the characteristics of a sandal and sneaker and is equally appealing. For the autumn/winter season, KEEN has introduced a new UNEEK SNK sneaker that offers more protection with its fully closed-in toe design. The new style is available in several different stylish colourways, as well as special editions developed in collaboration with two Japanese outdoor brands.

The new UNEEK SNK sneaker is equipped with a detachable Luftcell PU insole for extra arch support, while the insole has been ergonomically designed and air-injected for comfortable wear. The midsole is made of EVA – selected for its flexibility, cushioning effect and lightness – while the outsole is extremely durable and offers necessary grip. The top is made from 100% recyclable PET plastic bottles and new production methods have also helped reduce fuel consumption in cargo transportation.

The Tokyo Hemp Connection special edition sneaker features contrasting mint accents in the shade “Glow in the Wasabi”, while the style created with Bamboo Shoots uses an eye-catching red. The in-house colourways might be slightly easier to mix-and-match, with one style in classic black with a white sole, and the other in a tasteful dark olive green colour.
