Ferrari takes over Goodwood
The Goodwood Festival of Speed celebrates 70 years of Ferrari

After nearly a full year of birthday celebrations, it has certainly not been a surprise to see Ferrari out in full force and dominating this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The West Sussex estate is crawling with Maranello’s very best – there’s two full classes running up the hill for Ferraris alone; one for screaming single seat racers spanning the marque’s history, and the other for the brutal sports racers that made this manufacturer so universally loved. At 1pm every day of the event, all these cars make their way to the front of Goodwood House to the soundtrack of a live orchestra playing the Italian national anthem, complete with fireworks display as the crescendo.

Walk a couple of hundred metres away from trackside and you’ll find yourself on the Cartier lawn, which this year is featuring a special display of what is perhaps Ferrari’s most elegant series of cars, the 250.

For any self-respecting Tifosi, this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed is pure, unadulterated nirvana. Keep an eye on our social channels for more live coverage throughout the weekend.
