The BMW M4 GTS concept has been steadily gaining a lot of attention since its introduction at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance last year. The M4 GTS is a track-focused version of the standard M4 Coupe and is limited to 700 units worldwide. It has the same 3.0-litre twin turbo straight-six engine as in the standard M4, but BMW has added water injection to control temperature and bumped up the power from 425 hp to 493 hp; the resulting 659 kgm of torque pushes the M4 GTS to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. Also, the M4 GTS has been selected as the 2016 DTM safety car with updated LED lights, “DTM Safety Car” signage and radio communications improvements.
