British car model manufacturer Amalgam has long been our favorite brand. Each Amalgam fine model car is entirely handmade from over 2000 parts, the whole process of building one single delicate piece takes at least 3,000 man hours for developing and creating the master patterns. In order to ensure the accuracy of the model car, Amalgam has obtained the original detailed CAD data from the car’s manufacturer or the race team of the car to be modelled. Also, hundreds of photographs of every detail of a original car are carefully selected to ensure complete accuracy and adherence to the authentic finishes and materials. All the processes including painting, polishing and assembling are handled by a small team of highly skilled model-makers and requires nearly 400 hours of work.

Italian audio company iXOOST is known for its bluetooth and dock speakers inspired by Formula 1 car engines. Shown here is the XiLO audio dock which is made of imitated cylinders of actual racing cars. It is equipped with a 2-inch 40W tweeter, two 3-inch 40W mid range speakers, two 4-inch 40W mid bass speakers and an 8-inch 140W down firing subwoofer. The speaker is handmade in Modena, which is known as “the capital of engines”.
