Founded in 1968, Kvadrat is a leader in textile innovation, creating high-quality contemporary textiles for public spaces and private homes. Their fabrics are an intrinsic element in some of the world’s most highly acclaimed architectural developments, such as the Guangzhou Opera House in China and the Reichstag in Berlin.

Kvadrat’s Hong Kong Showroom

The Danish textile firm’s newly-opened location in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, aims to offer a broad range of premium textiles, from upholstery, curtains, acoustic panels, rugs and textile tiles, with a strong sense of inherent Scandinavian design values. The showroom will offer samples of over 150 Kvadrat fabrics designs in thousands of colours. An onsite team of textile experts will assist you with choosing the perfect fabric and colour combinations so that you can put your mind at ease. Further, the Kvadrat showroom offers cloth goods available for purchase per meter.

Kvadrat × Range Rover Velar

Kvadrat has been working with some of the world’s greatest designers and labels throughout the years. Their recent collaboration with the Range Rover Velar SUV impressed the crowds at this year’s Milan Design Week. Working jointly with Range Rover, Kvadrat developed a sustainable, premium textile seat material called “Dapple Grey” as an alternative to the traditional leather interior option, enhancing the minimalist charm of the vehicle.

Kvadrat/Raf Simons

Belgian fashion designer Raf Simons is also a fan of Kvadrat fabrics. He first used Kvadrat’s signature Divina fabric to create a collection of suits, jackets and coats for Jil Sander 2011 Fall/Winter collection, where he served as the Artistic Director for the minimalist label. Simons continued to use Kvadrat fabrics at Dior as well as his namesake label. He later strengthened his collaboration with Kvadrat by launching the Kvadrat/Raf Simons collection, which consists of upholstery textiles, cushions and throws. These fabrics are now available at the Hong Kong showroom as well.

Kvadrat × B&O / Kvadrat × adidas Originals

Besides Range Rover and Raf Simons, Kvadrat has also been collaborating with B&O and Adidas Originals for an A6 Bluetooth speaker and Stan Smith tennis shoes. Each exudes the understated elegance of its Scandinavian design with its generous and encircling fully upholstered fabric.
