It’s no secret that Mercedes-AMG’s Project ONE is inspired by the company’s Formula 1 race car, and now it has been announced that the hypercar is in-turn the inspiration for a new luxury boat; the Cigarette Racing 515 Project ONE, which will make its world debut at the Miami Boat Show on 15 February.

Cigarette Racing has been a long time collaborator of AMG. Other than joint marketing campaigns, Cigarette Racing has also released a few luxury boats inspired by AMG cars in the past, including the Vision GT Concept, 41′ SD GT3 and 50′ Marauder SS.

So far only a tease image of the Cigarette Racing 515 Project ONE boat has been released. How the powerful 1,000 hp powertrain featuring the 1.6-litre V6 engine derived from the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 race car will be utilised the new boat is yet to be known.
