Although Hollywood blockbusters are constantly dreaming up their own versions of the future, it’s also up to individuals to imagine life in times ahead, both on and potentially off Earth. 

Take a look at this motorcycle envisioned by Istanbul-based designer Mehmet Doruk Erdem. Featuring a huge back tyre, prominent exhaust pipe and external powertrain, the aggressive and radical appearance of the KHAN makes it looks like an extraterrestrial creature that could do more than just sprint down the road. While its unlikely any automaker will be creating this type of vehicle the near future, let’s hope unofficial, provocative concepts like this one can inspire big companies to put on their creative hats and effect radical change.
