California automaker Rezvani is pushing its Beast Alpha series to another level with the limited edition Blackbird (not related). Taking the name from the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, the incredible long-range US recon jet.

The Beast Alpha X Blackbird features a powerful turbocharged 2.5-litre Honda-based engine built using new Carillo racing forged pistons, rods, cams, valve, springs and Cosworth ECU, tuned to produce 700 hp and reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in 2.9 seconds. The non-limited Beast Alpha X is 100 hp less powerful and 0.3 seconds slower. Transmission duties are handled by a six-speed manual or six-speed sequential gearbox with paddle shifters.

For the limited edition, the body is adorned with vibrant green highlights, while green stitches can also be found on the ergonomically designed seats. The removable hard top and Sidewinder forward-sliding doors are carried over from the standard model. The Blackbird is equipped with a full carbon fibre body, contributing to its 975 kg weight. The Blackbird is limited to only five examples, and the first has already been delivered to MMA fighter Rampage Jackson.
