Whether you are a car maniac or not, it is difficult to ignore the arrival of Lamborghini Veneno Roadsters, a vehicle beyond the phrase “supercar”. The fact that it is highly exclusive – only nine units were made and its retail price is 3.3 million Euros (excl. tax) – certainly adds to its appeal, but the vehicle itself has many innovations and qualities that make you fall in love with.

To start with, it is a truly open vehicle with no roof but just a strong rollover bar for safety reason, meaning it delivers racing-like and intense driving experience with optimum aerodynamics and stability through fast corners. The body has extreme proportions, powerful arrow-shaped front end and razor-sharp lines. Both the visual division of the rear fenders and the adjustable rear wing reference top race cars and optimise aerodynamic flow. All exterior parts and the monocoque are made from carbon-fibre reinforced polymer, which explains the car’s lightweight.

Equipped with a twelve-cylinder engine with a displacement of 6.5 litres, fast-shifting ISR transmission with five modes, permanent all-wheel drive and a racing chassis with pushrod suspension and horizontal spring/damper units, the figures of its performance are designated to wow. With a maximum output of 750 hp, the Veneno Roadster accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and top speed stands at 355 km/h. Everything from this car does sound perfect, which is why all nine units were taken immediately. Maybe next time.
