A new documentary named “The Return” has just launched on Amazon Prime, telling us the story of the Ford GT from 1966 until now. The 78-minute-long film follows the development of the Ford GT as it transforms from a prototype to a ready-to-race car, returning to the Le Mans last year. Together with never-before-seen footage and behind-the-scenes imagery, it also includes interviews with people who contributed to the Ford GT such as Raj Nair, who turned the concept into reality, and president Bill Ford, as well as many world-class drivers.

Director Erich Joiner has stated that shooting the documentary was very memorable, as there were only a few people who were lucky enough to witness a world-class race car being built and the journey of building it. If you’re Ford fan, you better not miss it!
