Today, many car companies are offering reworked or re-imagined iconic vehicles, and Austria’s Kreisel Electric is no exception. The company has just introduced their reimagined Porsche 910, the EVEX Porsche 910e, turning the classic Porsche racer into an electric supercar.

First introduced in 1966, the Porsche 910 was the successor of the Porsche 906. The significant difference between the 906 and the 910 was its 13-inch wheels and tyres as in Formula One. The 910 celebrated many successes in various championships, most notably the 1967 24 Hours of Le Mans where it was piloted by German drivers Rolf Stommelen and Jochen Neerpasch to sixth place in the overall rankings.

The EVEX 910E is the first electric car created by the Austrian company. It can handle speeds above 300 kilometres per hour, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. Unlike the original 910 which was unsuitable for street use, the EVEX Porsche is licensed for use on public roads.

The EVEX 910E sports a Kreisel-developed two-speed automatic transmission with a gear ratio of 8.16 in first gear and 4.67 in second gear. It is also equipped with a self-locking differential and electric oil pump to ensure proper lubrication and cooling. The EVEX 910 is powered by a high-performance lithium-ion battery pack and can be charged quickly with up to 100 kilowatts DC.

The price for the EVEX 910E is one million Euros.
