Electric Stimulation
Aston Martin DBV Concept

While we wonder how the Red Bull Aston Martin AM-RB 001 hypercar might appear. Italian designer Antonia Paglia already had envisioned that project and unveiled his DBV concept even before the AM-RB 001 faced the cameras.

This aviation-inspired concept car is designed to forgo both the AM-RB 001’s hi-revving V12 engine and its 1:1 power-to-weight ratio. Instead, the DBV is completely electric-powered. From Paglia’s design sketches the DBV combines four electric motors, each powering an individual wheel. The battery pack unit forms the floor. The car’s shape follows advanced aerodynamics, beginning with the split frontal section designed to channel air around the car. While the DBV offers plenty of futuristic electrical stimulation, it still retains Aston Martin’s iconic brand elements, such as the company’s grille-styled front splitter. Might this fiery cocktail be your cup of tea?
