Headed by Japanese designer Fumito Ganryu and under the umbrella of COMME des GARÇONS, GANRYU COMME des GARÇONS keeps the combination of Eastern and Western culture at its root, but put more emphasis on the essence of American style and contemporary feel, showing a different side to the main line. Being heavily influenced by Western culture, Fumito Ganryu joined force with British shoemaker John Moore for a collaborative shoe in this season. Taking its design cue from classic Ghillies shoes which are used by men in Scottish country dance, the shoes are crafted from premium suede leather, and sits atop a Vibram outsole, integrating Ganryu’s own touch and aesthetics to the classic silhouette.
