Dyson DC74 Fluffy
The most powerful hand held vacuum.

British home appliance brand Dyson has recently conducted a small study on dust in the Hong Kong Baptist University, where its main purpose was to analyze the allergen content found within the dusts around different parts of the house. From this, it wishes to help the public to understand the composition of the dust in the house and therefore create a healthier living environment. Laboratory report points out that for every gram of dust found in a Hong Kong family, a median of 3.35 micrograms of allergen concentration is contained, at an average concentration of 5.35 micrograms. This means that when the dust mite allergen concentrations exceeds 2g, it could increase the risk of dusk mite allergy. The experiment also found that 97% of the participating households have exceeded such level. According to WHO’s data, when allergen concentration goes above 10 micrograms, it could increase the risk of asthma attack. In the study, the highest concentration of allergens in the sample was 34.14 micrograms, which is 3.4 times higher than the indicators set by WHO.

Dyson’s latest DC74 Fluffy cordless vacuum cleaner can simultaneously suck out tiny dust and large dirt from the floor, mattresses and furniture. Unlike the bristles composed traditional tip from the past, DC74 uses a soft woven nylon covered cleaning roller, which is lined with rows of fibers, so that large dirt is stuck to the fluffy surface and then pushed into the suction tube. At the same time, the carbon fibre are anti-static so that any static charges which holds the tiny dust to the floor are eliminated, and any fine dust are removed with its sealed suction, resulting in a spotless floor. Last but not least, we must mention about the brand’s signature digital motor V6 and its exclusive cyclones which can turn for over 110,000 times. At a speed five times faster than the engine of a F1 race car, it can maintain the power of the centrifugal forces from beginning till end.
