Drive With Serenity
Infiniti Q Inspiration Concept

Unveiled at the 2018 Detroit Motor Show, the Infiniti Q Inspiration Concept uses new design language for a sedan, featuring coupe-like proportions. The front is dominated by a double-arched grille and modern and clear lines, while at the back the taillight is a simple horizontal stripe.

The minimalistic and serene interior promises a spacious and comfortable environment with high soundproofing, and each passenger has a personal touchscreen that offers guided meditation for relaxation. The car can monitor passenger biometrics too. The inside door pockets are lined with Nishijin-ori, a material that includes golden washi paper shreds woven with silk threads and act as a high-tech sensor for controlling the interior lighting.

The concept is powered by a VC-Turbo four-cylinder engine that continuously adjusts the compression ratio to optimise power and fuel efficiency. It also features the ProPILOT autonomous drive system that acts as a co-pilot while leaving drivers ultimately still in control. The system can handle all the stressful tasks and better anticipate and response to dangerous situations, while the driver does the rest.
