Bandit9 Dark Side

After almost a year of hiatus, Saigon based motorcycle builder Bandit9 has returned with its latest work Dark Side, a custom build that is similar to the Harley Davidson V-Rod.

Limited to nine examples and all handmade, the Dark Side is a pitch-black vision of the future with understated aesthetic. The team looked at aircraft for inspiration and came up with a profile based on an airplane’s aerodynamics. Referencing Boeing’s fuselage, the unibody fuses the fuel tank, cowl, seat, brake light smoothly into one piece for an sleek and elegant appearance.

The Dark Side features a 60° V-twin 750cc liquid-cooled engine. The new RevX engine lowers the centre of gravity to offer better handling at low speeds and to keep the bike responsive at high speeds. The front white LED lens is far brighter than a standard headlamp, while the single LED rear light integrates the brakes and signals. To complete the minimalistic and raw look, the Vance & Hines Competition Series exhaust is finished with black ceramic.
