Combining nature and music, Fuji Rock is one of the most highly-regarded summer events worldwide. The location of the site, as well as its focus on sustainability, make it even more appealing. but it is not for the faint hearted as festival goers are expected to walk over 20,000 steps daily. American outdoor shoe expert KEEN has been supporting Fuji Rock since 2015, and has just launched a new crossover collection with the renowned music festival.

The second collaboration between Fuji Rock and KEEN is overseen by Motomichi Sekimura of TOKYO HEMP CONNECTION * THC, who took inspiration from the night sky as seen at the festival. The new items from the collection are based on three signature styles, namely the Men’s Targhee EXP Mid “SP” Waterproof, Women’s Terradora II Mid “SP” Waterproof and Newport H2 for both men and women.

Both the Targhee EXP Mid “SP” and the  Terradora II Mid “SP” hiking boots feature a waterproof yet breathable membrane. The KEEN.ALL-TERRAIN rubber outsole offers excellent higher-traction grip, while the removable dual-density EVA footbed provides long-lasting comfort. The secure fit lacing system ensures the best fit adjustment and easy wearing and removal. As for the Newport H2, the versatile water shoe offers the airiness of a sandal and the toe protection of a shoe, with the same secure fit lace capture system. The collection also features glow in the dark and reflective elements — the perfect solution to the age old “where did he go?” late night festival problem.
