Corded No More
Dyson Cyclone V10

Dyson has officially announced that it will completely stop designing traditional corded vacuum cleaners, alongside the launch of the new Cyclone V10 cordless vacuum cleaner.

The new V10 uses a specially designed ceramic shaft that weighs less than half of the metal shaft of its predecessor, the V8. The V10’s motor spins at up to 125,000 rpm, which is three times more powerful than the original V2 and the fastest Dyson digital motor. the innovative in-line configuration allows alignment of the motor, bin and cyclone, creating a better air flow and keeping sound levels down. In addition, the new bin emptying mechanism hygienically and conveniently ejects dust and debris deep into the bin, and there are three power modes low, medium and MAX — for users to choose from. Although the charging time is longer (around 3.5 hours), taking into account that fast-charging technology can cause battery depletion and directly affect the battery life, Dyson has created a energy-dense battery that runs at a higher voltage and creates more power. The new battery allows the Cyclone V10 to offer 60 minutes of fade-free suction in low power mode.
