Cool Jetting
Phighter Images jet engine ceiling fans

Aviation fanatics can now easily inject some of their favourite airborne elements into their home. Phighter Images has crafted ceiling fans in the style of jet engine blades to make your home literally cool.

Phighter Images is founded by Kurt Eldrup, who has spent years in the United States Air Force and has 25 years experience as an auto body technician and painter. With the right set of contacts and skills, he started making furniture using old aircraft parts, from jet engine coffee tables to aviation-themed fish tanks.

The jet engine ceiling fans come in two styles: either made from a Pratt/Whitney jet engine with JT8 style blades or the new style GE 9X blades. A remote control is included for ease of use and you can even get a jet engine ring cowl to give it a more authentic look. The fans are priced at around 3000 US dollars, reasonable for such an interesting, one-of-a-kind, handcrafted piece.
