Known for his curiosity, simplicity, sense of humor with a hint of elegant oddness, Sir Paul Smith has consistently examined the meaning of menswear since the beginning. For spring/summer 2016, the British designer draws his inspirations from independent minds and being influenced by artist, who is also a friend of his – David Hockney for his distinctive color palette, namely turquoise and coral. Besides, the collection brings bolts of bright summer hues of blue, orange and green together to create more tonal shades. With a loose and painterly way to approach photographic prints which stay true to Sir Paul’s aesthetic point of view, each look from the collection is different yet unified through the ever presence of tailoring that embodies Sir Paul’s free-spirited attitude.
