Prodrive has unveiled an elevated edition of its Racing Simulator. Already regarded as a sculptural icon in the sim racing world, the 2025 update pushes the boundaries further, blending British craftsmanship, heritage, and cutting-edge technology.

Originally conceived by former F1 team principal David Richards and designed by automotive legend Ian Callum, the Racing Simulator debuted in 2022 as more than just a performance tool. Designed to complement a luxury car collection, it now offers expanded personalisation through new collaborations with Connolly, Vaughtons, and Pendennis.

Inside the floating carbon fibre monocoque, customers can choose hand-stitched Connolly leather, with the option to incorporate family crests. The outer wooden hoop, crafted by yacht builder Pendennis, is now offered in multiple colourways with a high-gloss, piano lacquer-style finish. Each unit also features a bespoke Vaughtons plaque, paying homage to Britain’s coachbuilding legacy.

In a notable update, Prodrive has replaced Bowers & Wilkins with Bang & Olufsen. The upgraded audio experience includes Beoplay HX headphones for immersive sound, with an optional Beosound A9 speaker for shared use.

While the core specifications remain similar, performance remains a priority. Powered by a 12GB GeForce RTX graphics card and 16GB of memory, the simulator features a 49-inch 5K curved display with a 165Hz refresh rate, a race-spec LM Pro steering wheel with force feedback, and a metal pedal box, ensuring it performs as impressively as it looks. With prices starting from £60,000, each simulator is a truly bespoke creation.
