Canon has taken one of its concept cameras shown during CP+ 2019 and is launching it via an Indiegogo campaign. At the size of a USB flash drive, the Canon IVY REC is an outdoor camera that can be carried around easily wherever you go with a clippable function.
The simple point-and-shoot camera features a 13.0 megapixel 1/3-inch CMOS sensor, full HD video shooting at 1080p up to 60fps, Bluetooth and wireless connectivity. Targeted for outdoor use, the camera is waterproof up to 30 minutes at a depth of one metre and shockproof. The clip of the camera doubles as the viewfinder, and if you pair IVY REC with the CanonMini Cam App you’ll be able to see live preview on the phone as well as transfer and share photos and videos wirelessly. Bookmark the project’s Indiegogo page where Canon will later announce pricing and availability.
