Build Your Own Lightsaber
Savi’s Workshop at Disneyland Park’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Star Wars fans, especially those who have started following the film series at a tender age, would have probably dreamed of fighting with a Lightsaber like in the epic battle between Luke and Darth Vader. With the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening in Disneyland Park in California on 31 May, visitors can become one with the Force and customise their own legendary lightsaber.

Upon arriving at the Savi’s Workshop, one of the Savi’s Gatherers allows you to choose your path and select one of the four themes for the metal hilts. Visitors will receive a cloisonné pin to identify their selection and gather the heart of the lightsaber – the kyber crystal. Up next you can select various parts such as the sleeves, emitter, pommel caps and more. Once the handle is assembled a 31-inch lightsaber blade will be attached for completing your sacred tool. The experience costs US$199.99 on top of the park admission fee. Reservations are required during the opening period, visit the website for details.
