Bugatti has always been a brand that pushes the limits of speed, and its latest collaboration proves that philosophy extends well beyond four wheels. Seen here is the Bugatti Factor One, a radical road bike developed with British performance specialist Factor Bikes that merges hypercar thinking with the world of elite cycling.
Founded in Norfolk by former professional cyclist and carbon engineering specialist Rob Gitelis, Factor has built a reputation for producing some of the fastest UCI-legal race bikes available today. The Factor One platform already pushed the boundaries of what was possible within racing regulations; the Bugatti version goes further by stepping beyond them entirely. Freed from UCI constraints, the frame adopts a wider fork stance and aggressively optimised aerodynamic shaping, reducing drag while improving high-speed stability.
Construction centres on advanced carbon engineering, resulting in a structure that balances stiffness, efficiency, and ride quality. The Black Inc Bugatti Hyper 62 wheelset sits at the heart of that performance. The 62 mm rims, weighing just 1,298 grams per pair, combine crosswind stability with low drag for sustained speed. Efficiency and responsiveness under load are further enhanced through precision hub internals and co-moulded carbon spokes.
The collaborative bike, of course, carries clear visual cues of Bugatti design DNA. A two-tone split graphic in signature Bugatti Blue runs across the sculpted frame, while the iconic “Dancing Elephant” emblem, created by Rembrandt Bugatti, appears at the front as a nod to the marque’s artistic heritage. Exposed carbon in a 3K twill weave is used throughout, mirroring the finish seen on Bugatti’s hypercars.
Limited to just 250 individually numbered examples, the Bugatti Factor One reinforces the marque’s pursuit of creating one of the most uncompromising machines ever built on two wheels.
