London’s Victoria & Albert Museum is launching the “Videogames: Design/Play/Disrupt” exhibition in September, exploring the design and culture of contemporary video games.
The exhibition, curated by Marie Foulston and Kristian Volsing as part of the V&A’s Design, Architecture and Digital department, will provide a unique insight into the design process behind a selection of groundbreaking contemporary video games since the mid-2000s. Design work, including concept art and prototypes (see the gallery above), feature alongside large-scale immersive and interactive installations.
The “Videogames: Design/Play/Disrupt” exhibition will open on Saturday, 8 September 2018. Click here for more details.
