Beefed up Seven-Seater
BMW X7 Concept

BMW hinted they would be “redefining luxury with something big” ahead of the Frankfurt Motor Show. What they meant was the X7 Concept, the first BMW crossover featuring three rows of seats for seven passengers.

Judging from the images released, the X7 is very close to being production ready. The overall styling is bold, with plenty of metallic trim adorning the edges. Even the signature kidney grille is beefed up, in scale with the substantial matching alloy wheels. In the rear, the taillights are narrow and horizontal for a modern look. The X7 also features a panoramic glass roof with Y-shaped cross bar.

The interior focuses on full seven passenger comfort throughout the cabin. The ample dual coloured leather seats are lush while metallic accents on the steering wheel provide just the right amount of sparkle.

BWW has yet to reveal the details of the concepts powertrain, but it likely the production versions should offer different powertrain setups. BMW should provide precise details very soon.
