Battles In A Galaxy Far, Far Away
Star Wars Battlefront II

With the latest Star Wars film being released this coming December, we’re seeing more and more coverage and related products surfacing. One of the biggest is the latest Star Wars video game, Star Wars Battlefront II, which will be launched next month.

Unlike its predecessor, the first person shooter contains both a single player campaign and multiplayer modes. In the offline campaign follows Iden Versio, commander of the Imperial Special Forces unit Inferno Squad, to take up action in saving the Empire. In some segments other iconic characters such as Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren can be selected. Overall the game bridges events between Star WarsReturn of the Jedi and Star WarsThe Force Awakens over 30 years. In multiplayer modes, gamers can choose to play as heroes from different eras, including Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Hans Solo, Princess Leia and more. The locations include diverse planets from all three cinematic eras of Star Wars

The beta version of the game was recently open to the public and reviews on the stunning and authentic visuals and the overall gameplay are mostly positive. Some gamers are not used to the new progression system that allows users to pay for getting unlockable bonuses called Star Cards for new weapons and abilities, while others seem to welcome the changes. Either way, the beta period has just ended and the final version will be released on November 17th and available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
