2020 Ford Bronco

The much-anticipated new Ford Bronco looks like it will be available in early 2020, and reports are claiming that it will have plenty of Aussie Grit.

Since the new Bronco’s backbone DNA comes from the Ranger chassis developed at Ford’s Asia-Pacific Product Development Center in Victoria, it’s not a surprise that the new “Bronc” will see its first light of day at the same facility. It also seems likely it will carry either the four or five-cylinder diesel from the Ranger as well. Previous generations of Bronco personified a no-compromise off-road character, so expect the new truck to come with a heavy-duty transfer case with low-range gearing, and the option of a manual or automatic transmission.

While word has it the new US Broncos will also have a petrol V6 option, it’s still unknown if Ford will produce a right-hand-drive version of the sixth generation offroader for international markets. Though not officially announced, trusted sources confirmed that starting in 2020, both the Ranger and Bronco will be built at Ford’s domestic factory in Michigan.
