Apple iPad Pro
The future of personal computing.

“The iPad is the clearest expression of our vision of the future of personal computing.”

This was what Apple CEO Tim Cook mentioned at the end of his very indicative speech during the recent Autumn conference, right before the screen was lit up with the image of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. This has officially unveiled a new era for the iPad, which was initially launched in 2010.

Amongst the most obvious changes would definitely be its 2732×2048 resolution Retina screen, delivering a 5.6 million pixel which is even higher than what the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro can offer! In terms of operational performance, the iPad Pro is definitely at a desktop level. Embedded with the new third-generation A9X chipset, supporting smooth 3D painting and 4K film editing, Apple said that this product performs faster than 80% of the mobile computers in the market. Even the sound performances developed by the engineers for the iPad Pro is at their highest quality, as its four built-in speakers are able to deliver a stereo soundstage, offering a volume output two to three times higher than the iPad Air, making it suitable for any purposes.

Measuring at 6.9mm in thickness and 0.7kg in weight, the factory claims that it also has a 10 hour-long battery life, achieving what Apple promises to do once again. Following the iPad Pro, is the release of the protected and tangible Smart Keyboard, and the stylus Apple Pencil. The former is connected to the iPad Pro through the innovative Smart Connector, which provides power and data transmission to the keyboard; whereas the latter is able to sense the pressure of the user’s handwriting, in order to calculate the angle and direction of the pen. If it truthfully present all kinds of different brush stroke effects, it can be treated just like a real pencil. These two accompanying products will be launched alongside the iPad Pro in November, 2015.
