Hennessey, well-known for upgrading and customising Ford’s factory vehicles, will soon launch its latest offering; the 2017 Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6 Truck.

Based on a 2017 Ford Raptor 4-door truck, the new VelociRaptor features 6×6 locking rear axles, upgraded Fox suspension, 20-inch wheels and off-road tyres, unique front and rear bumpers, plus a rollbar and LED lights. Hennessey promises significantly boosted performance thanks to its VelociRaptor 600 twin turbo upgrade with more than 600 horsepower, including stainless steel exhaust modifications, an improved front-mounted air-to-air intercooler and a re-tuned factory computer. Additional upgrade options include Brembo front & rear brakes, larger wheels and tires, a bespoke interiors, electronic updates and armouring systems.

The VelociRaptor 600 twin-turbo upgrade will be available to new Raptor owners, including the four-wheel drive second-generation Raptor, for US$22,500. While the exact date of availability remains unconfirmed, the starting price of the largest aftermarket domestic truck is US$295,000.
