Another Gem in the Crown
1991 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary

During the Rétromobile show week in Paris next month, RM Sotheby’s will hold its fifth annual sale at the historic Place Vauban. Among the extensive catalogue that includes some of the world’s finest sports, racing, and touring cars from both pre- and post-war periods, there is a 1991 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary, which is expected to fetch up to €300,000 at auction.

Presented in the iconic Countach white with red interior, this example was built in 1989 and sports the same visual panache and performance of the 5000QV specification, including its iconic 5,167cc V12 engine, with an estimated top speed of 295 km/h and sprint from 0–100 km/h in under five seconds. Although it has undergone several ownership changes, the car still only has 3,465 km recorded in its odometer, which makes it one of the lowest mileage examples ever to come to market.
