Land Ark Drake RV

Living on wheels seems to be becoming more and more on-trend. A new company called Land Ark is taking advantage, and has just launched its first RV model called the Drake, and the background of the founders make the project hard to ignore.

Founders Brian and Joni Buzarder designed, built and have lived in an RV since 2012. As well as living inside the DIY prototype, their experience also helped test and revise the design. Sitting on top of a tri-axle trailer chassis, the RV is compact as a living space, measuring 30 ft long and having a total floorspace of 357 sq ft. The extensive use of white-washed pine certainly brightens the interior and makes it look more comfortable. Up to six persons can sleep inside (seven if someone doesn’t mind sleeping on the sofa), spread over two lofts with king or queen size beds and a multi-function room. There is sufficient space for a kitchenette with refrigerator, stove and oven, and there is a full size, five-foot bathtub inside the bathroom.
