An Exclusive Celebration
Bentley Centenary Opus

We first introduced the Bentley Centenary Opus last year when it was in production, featuring  images being shot with the rarely seen Polaroid 20×24 Land – the largest format Polaroid camera in the world. Now the limited book is ready to celebrate 100 years with the automaker with three editions, one of which is decorated with 100 carats of diamonds and priced at an entry-level Bentley.

Published in collaboration with Opus, Bentley Centenary Opus goes through the automaker’s rich history with over 800 pages of many unseen images. Its 30 kg weight makes it the heaviest book ever produced on an automaker. Highlights include the marque’s Le Mans victories of the 1920s, past iconic models and the new generation of GTs, spanning over nine chapters such as Performance, Design, Rarity and Craftsmanship, as Innovation, Extraordinary Customers and The Future. The volume also features an introduction from fashion designer Ralph Lauren, one of the most well-known celebrity Bentley enthusiasts.

Bentley Centenary Opus is now available in three editions. The Centenary Edition is limited to 500 copies at £3,000 each, bound with leather7 used in Bentley cars and Bentley Wings badge same as the one on Centenary models. Owners can also pick the colour of the leather cover. Up next is the Mulliner edition which costs £12,500 and is limited to 100 copies. Apart from the additional  20in x 24in Polaroid portraits of 10 iconic Bentleys and watercolour paintings on silk paper, it also comes with a piece of the tyre from the 2013 Le Mans-winning Speed 8. The special ‘tailor-made’ bespoke option allows buyers to include their own Bentleys in their unique copy of the book. The most exclusive 100 Carat Edition costs a whooping £200,000 each and is limited to 7 copies, one for each continent. The price is justified by the 100 carats of diamonds adorning the cover and white gold or platinum Wings badge.
