Automakers are constantly launching tenuously-related accessories — everything from golf clubs to umbrellas — but the new Pursuit Seat from Rolls-Royce is a well-engineered piece that stands out from the usuals.

Designed to fit into the Recreation Module of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the Pursuit Seat shares the same craftsmanship and attention to detail that any Rolls-Royce vehicle represents. Only quality materials are selected in the making of the portable chair, from the polished aluminium frame to the carbon fibre shaft. The padded seat is crafted from natural grain leather as used in Rolls-Royce cabins, and just like buying a car, you can pick the colour of the leather with a choice of 17 shades.

A spike can be deployed at the end of the leg of the stool so that it stays firmly, even on soft surfaces like a paddock or beach. The seat height can be adjusted at the touch of a button and there’s even a torch hidden inside.

When it is not in use, just fold it up and put it back into the cover and it doesn’t take up any more space than a golf club. The Pursuit Seat is priced at US$ 8,800.
