Zagato Swiss Exhibition

Design house Zagato, founded in 1919, has started its hundredth anniversary early with its most extensive exhibition to date. 25 Zagato-bodied collectible cars, presented by owners from different parts of the world, are currently being displayed at the Pantheon Basel in Switzerland. Fondly known as “the forum for vintage cars”, the Pantheon Basel is a circular piece of architecture and a great venue for car exhibitions as the vehicles can be displayed as if they are lining up on the starting grid of an imaginary circuit.

The Zagato-bodied exhibits include the legendary 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 and the latest 2015 Mostro powered by Maserati, as well as models from Aston Martin, Fiat, Lancia and Porsche. The exhibition will run until April 17th 2017 and some cars will rotate allowing visitors to properly take in all of the coach builder’s greatest pieces of art. The brand also plans to take the exhibition to other countries and involve as many Zagato collectors as possible.
