Ahead Of Season Kick-Off
Alfa Romeo's C43 in 'F1 22' Game

The 2023 Formula 1 season officially starts in Bahrain in a couple of weeks’ time, but gamers are able to get a taste of one of the 2023 F1 challengers in EA Sports’ F1 22 right now, as Alfa Romeo’s new C43 race car has just been added to the official roster.

This is the very first time an upcoming, real-world F1 livery has been added to a current F1 game, and as of writing this article, the C43 is the only 2023 car available. The eye-catching red-and-black livery was seen on track in Bahrain during pre-season testing on 23-25 February, with Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu behind the wheel. To be among the first to race and test the C43, gamers can head to the ‘Time Trial’ mode and select the ‘F1 2023 Preview’ menu to sample the latest machine to be produced in Hinwil. Managing Director of Sauber Group and Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake Representative Alessandro Alumni Bravi has also noted that the team will have more content on the way in this pioneering approach.

F1 22 will also be added to EA’s ‘The Play List’ on 2 March, so those who have yet to purchase the game but are EA Play subscribers across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, as well as the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate/Xbox Game Pass for PC will also be able to get a taste.
