7 Moncler Fragment Hiroshi Fujiwara capsule

The Moncler Genius initiative offers the Milan-based brand a great opportunity to collaborate with different fashion creatives. Coming into the latest Moncler Genius World Tour 19 – 20, Moncler has once again developed a capsule collection with one of the godfathers of Ura-Harajuku fashion, Hiroshi Fujiwara.

Fujiwara’s love for vintage and military styles can be seen in this latest collection. The “7 Moncler Fragment Hiroshi Fujiwara” sees the Japanese designer and cultural agitator mixing his signature styles wth urban and tech references and turning functional pieces with clean cuts into collectible one-offs with bold lettering and slogans. There are elements of Americana and Aviator mixing with Mod culture, with the collection centring around different interpretations of parka and bomber jacket. Contrasting matte and shiny nylon is another highlight for demonstrating the construction of the pieces. There is even a special collaboration with Pokémon, with the popular character being printed on the duvets, while the Porter bag collaboration is presented with electric blue, orange and red on black and military green.

The Hiroshi Fujiwara capsule will be available globally starting from 3 October.
