Last year, Rezvani announced a new line-up called Rezvani Retro, with the first model, the RR1, paying tribute to the legendary 1976 Porsche 935 race car. Built on the current 992-generation Porsche 911 and limited to just 50 units, the RR1 has now been spotted on the streets in its completed form.
This initial example shows a few visual changes compared to the images released in last year’s announcement. Most notably, it now features circular headlights instead of elongated ones, bringing the design closer to the aesthetic of 1970s Porsches. The bonnet vents have been removed, allowing the Martini-style racing livery to take centre stage on the carbon-fibre exterior. The red wheels and large rear wing remain unchanged from the concept, staying faithful to its inspiration.
The owner of this car has chosen the RR1 600 edition with a manual gearbox, powered by a 3.0-litre flat-six turbo from the 992 Carrera, tuned to produce 600 hp and driving the rear wheels. The alternative specification — the 750 hp edition — comes with all-wheel drive and a PDK gearbox only, using the 992 Turbo S as the donor car.
Inside, the cabin features bespoke touches, including matching racing stripes on the seats and vintage-style Heuer timers mounted on the dashboard. Even the custom wooden gearshift knob carries Martini stripes, while a limited-edition plaque underscores the exclusivity of this build.
Rezvani is still accepting orders for the RR1. Prices start at US$195,000 before options, with buyers supplying the donor car.
