A Stylish Surprise
Ferrari SP38

Meet the Ferrari SP38, the latest one-off addition from Ferrari’s Design Centre based on the 488 GTB chassis.

The SP38 can be driven both on the road and the track. The unique body styling is finished in three-layer metallic red. The most attention-grabbing aspect can be found at the rear with its louver design, showing some F40 flavours in the rear wing and engine cover. For the front, the aggressive fascia, strongly-tapered nose and muscular wheel arches offers potency and agility. The star shaped wheels in silver also add a stylish touch to the one off car.

On the mechanical side, the SP38 features the same twin-turbo 3.9-litre V8 engine as the 488 GTB, producing 661 hp and completing the 0-100 km/h dash in 3 seconds. While we are not sure if any adjustments have been made, the SP38 should perform similarly to the standard 488 GTB, if not even better. The beautiful one-off car will be unveiled to the public at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Italy this Saturday, 26 May.
