A Notable Debut
Aston Martin Vulcan to make race debut in Le Mans

The Aston Martin Vulcan is getting ready to make its debut on track at Le Mans; the car will compete in the Michelin Aston Martin Racing Festival. Although the Vulcan is not exactly taking part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race itself, since it was not developed to adhere to the FIA regulations for the World Endurance Championship, it will race on the same La Sarthe circuit and on the same weekend.

Two examples of the Aston Martin Vulcan will be entered by the newly-opened AMR Performance Centre based in Nürburgring. A total of 38 Aston Martins will compete in the Michelin Aston Martin Racing Festival on 16 June, including the V12 Vantage GT3, older versions of the Vantage GT1 and GT2, the DBR9 and the 2016 FIA-World Endurance Championship winning car — the #95 Danetrain V8 Vantage GTE. The racing festival will also have a star-filled line-up, including  former Le Mans winner Martin Brundle and his co-driver, multiple Olympic gold medal winner Sir Chris Hoy.
