A New Type Of Canvas
Yohji Yamamoto x Lamborghini Aventador S

Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto has created a unique Lamborghini Aventador S and co-branded garment capsule collection to celebrate the opening of Lamborghini’s new Lounge Tokyo.

The special Aventador S was inspired by Yamamoto’s Paris fashion show back in January, where Lamborghini Head of Design Mitja Borkert was so impressed that he invited the fashion icon to work on the collaboration. The Aventador S is dressed in the same signature black and red contrasting colour tones from the collection, including striking patchwork patterns, polka dots and Japanese Kanji. Yamamoto’s signature can also be found on the side of the car.

The interior is equally as exciting, with the dashboard, seats, and the back of the interior featuring messages in various font types and doodles in blue, white and red lines. The seats are also decorated with polka dots just under the headrests, with Japanese text on the sides. The result is a special Aventador S that blends fine Italian craftsmanship with Japanese culture.

As well as the one-off supercar, Yamamoto has also designed a capsule collection featuring a mod coat, bomber jacket and a hoodie, all of which share the same visual appeal and graphic elements as the Aventador S.
