A New Kind Of SUV
Lamborghini Urus

Lamborghini first showed its SUV concept back in 2012. Five years later the production version of the Lamborghini Urus is finally ready to hit the market.

The automaker describes its first high performance SUV as a “Super SUV”, and it certainly carries the raging bull supercar DNA in both design and performance. The Urus’s distinctive exterior resembles elements of other Lamborghinis; for a start it has the two-thirds body, one-third window ratio. Its low roofline, intense and angular lines and strongly-tilted rear windows are all very familiar. The headlights and taillights are Y-shaped and the rear end features a diffuser and double exhaust pipes. The Urus measures 5,112 mm in length, 2,016 mm in width and 1,638 mm in height, yet it weighs less than 2,200 kg.

The five-seater features a newly-developed front-mounted 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine that generates 650 hp and 850 Nm of torque. The car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 305 km/h. The 4WD system with active torque vectoring and four-wheel steering ensures that the car always offers that maximum amount of grip and optimised driving dynamics.
