Audi’s R8 e-tron was very short lived, with less than 100 units produced, and the automaker has stated that the next electric sports car won’t arrive until 2020-2021. In the meantime, we can appreciate this near future-styled Audi electric supercar render by designer Konstantin Pankratov.

Simply named the ‘Audi Concept ATOM’, the car is visually influenced by theR8 but more elongated and edging towards a GT style. Overall the design is modern with a touch of futurism, featuring hard edges and aggressive lines with massive wheels and prominent wheel arches. The front design is unique, with the four ring logo facing upwards instead of forwards. The rear is equally interesting with suspended taillights protruding out. The panorama windscreen just adds a beautiful touch on its flow, while the rear view mirrors on the side are replaced by cameras for a cleaner silhouette.
