A dark and contemporary twist on a classic
Bulgari Octo Ultranero range

Black is a colour that comes with many facets and connotations. On top of everything it certainly is a key element of modern style. It is exciting to see Bulgari lifting their classic Octo watch to the next level by releasing the Octo Ultranero range just in time for this year’s Baselworld. Guido Terreni, Managing Director of the Bulgari Watch Division, lays it down pretty well, saying “Ultranero lends even more strength and contemporary power to the Octo watch. Its impact both visually and to one’s imagination is both immediate and striking.”

All watches in the sporty range feature a titanium or steel case, treated with Diamond Like Carbon (D.L.C.) and sporting a black lacquered polished dial. Depending on the version, there are two options; those interested in a more low-key appearance can select an all black watch with subtle pink gold hands. For a bolder option, one can combine a black D.L.C.-coated case with a pink gold crown. The Octo Ultranero Finissimo Tourbillon is fitted with the Bulgari BVL 268 Finissimo calibre, the thinnest mechanical tourbillon movement to date. Also in the range are the Octo Solotempo, powered by the twin-barrel Solotempo BVL 193 calibre that has a 50-hour power reserve, and the sportier Octo Velocissimo, which is capable of capturing time to the nearest tenth of a second.
