Technology in car making is certainly moving much quicker than our previous generations could expect. Who would have thought that electric cars, once overlooked due to the rising of combustion-powered vehicles, would be trending again? Designer Frederic Le Sciellour is encouraging our imaginations to look further with his Audi e-ton 2028 impression.
The original Audi Type R Imperator was born in 1928, and Sciellour has created its “next generation” 100 years from its birth. The exterior of the Audi e-ton Imperator 2028 is smooth like a bullet. The standard headlights are not there but instead are replaced by lights inside the grille. The dashboard is fully digitalised, while there is a giant holographic display that projects 3D visuals such as a New York City map. The inside of the doors are also used as infotainment displays. A lot of these interior features are things that have not been seen on production models so far, but perhaps they indeed could be realised by 2028.
