A Bounty Hunter’s Time Piece
Kross Studio Star Wars Boba Fett Collector Set

Boba Fett may not have had much screen time in the original Star Wars films but that didn’t stop him from becoming one of the most well-known characters in the franchise’s expansive universe. The famous bounty hunter has also become the inspiration of Swiss designer Kross Studio’s latest creation — the Boba Fett collector set. Created in collaboration with Lucasfilm, each collector set includes a numbered Boba Fett-inspired tourbillon watch and a Boba Fett starship-inspired display.

Inside the 45mm, chocolate PVD-coated grade 5 titanium case is a complex central tourbillon, and on top of the tourbillon’s cage is the meticulously crafted miniature Boba Fett starship on its landing platform. The level of detail on the starship is incredible, with each piece taking 90 hours to create.

Reading the time is equally unique, as it’s done via a planetary gear system that orbits 360 degrees around the tourbillon. The hour hand takes the shape of Boba Fett’s jetpack, while the minute hand is inspired by his blaster. The watch does not have a visible crown, instead the D-ring crown system on the case back and the “Time Set” push-button located at 3 o’clock are used simultaneously in order to set the time.

Accompanying the watch is Boba Fett’s starship display crafted by EFX. This is the exact same scale as the actual filming model used in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and is limited to 10 collector sets only. Each set is priced at USD $120,000.
