Agile Automotive from Denmark has recently been developing two models of lightweight performance vehicles, named the SC122 and SCX, to compete against Lotus in dominating the market of lightweight sports cars.

Both cars will feature a carbon fibre chassis, mid-engine layout and short wheelbase, and are expected to provide an impressive driving experience. In terms of power, the SC122 is set to be equipped with a supercharged 3.5-litre V6 engine generating 425 horsepower, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission or an optional seven-speed sequential race transmission with paddle shifters. If you would like to opt for something more tame, a naturally-aspirated V6 will also be offered.

The SCX is set to be even lighter than the SC122, and will have both the doors and windshield removed – because if speed is your priority, these would be considered to be “unnecessary” components anyway! Engine choices include a 2-litre naturally-aspirated Toyota engine with 180 horsepower or a supercharged 2-litre engine with a maximum of 250 horsepower.

For now, we can only stay tuned for more details to be released from the Danish automaker.
