A Beautiful Twist
Cuckoo-collection By Nendo

Nendo Design Studio in Japan has just released a new collection of cuckoo clocks designed for Lemnos, using both modern and simple twists on the traditional design. This series includes three models; the first can be used as a bookend so that books can be arranged between the clock’s central section and its small ‘3’ o’clock section. The second model is a cube with the shape of a traditional clock and a cuckoo bird perched in the little hole inside. The most attractive design is the model that appears to be up-side-down, with the base as the rooftop. The numbers and the cuckoo bird have been placed asymmetrically, creating interesting visual effects. Perhaps these incredible designs can remind us once again how valuable time is.
